Our beloved country, The United States, is responsible for more weapons of violence and mass destruction than any nation on the face of the earth. We make "em and sell 'em -- sometimes we even give them away. We have so many the military cannot keep track of them all. Pistols, rifles, automatic weapons, tanks, rockets, missiles, planes, warheads, satellites, along with stockpiles of chemical, biological, and nuclear weapons.
The United States is the world's largest manufacturer and seller of weapons of destruction, almost all of it in the sweet name of "defense," meaning self-protection. In fact, in 1993 we outspent both friends and potential foes.
Since the fall of the Soviet Union and the end of the Cold War, the so-called "peace dividend" America was supposed to enjoy has been about 9 percent.
We outspend ALL of our potential adversaries put together -- maybe we need to be prepared for a six front war.
